Here’s a short video from PTC showing some of the highlights of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0. I guess this was shown by Brian Shepherd at the PTC/USER 2009 event in Orlando, FL. If you were there, you might have seen this.
The video shows some interesting new capabilities of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0.
Mentioned in the video are: improved file open dialog box, smart features for plastic part design, drag-and-drop UDFs (User Defined Features), you can open and use native files from Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor, realistic mechanism modeling, dynamic gears, new manikin module, improved method for routing cables, and easier to create realistic renderings of models.
TCPUG.org is the internet home of the Twin Cities Pro/Engineer User Group. We are the organization for people in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota area who use Pro/ENGINEER product design software.
